By the way, the last few are part of these poems I write that I call in my head the "I verb" poems. You can actually see a lot of them in my other blog. I had intended to create/publish a poetry collection consisting of all these by this summer, but, you know, best laid plans and all that.

The "I verb" just comes from how they all start, and I have several first stanza beginnings that I just sort of stored away. This poem and the previous poem have been in my backlogs for ages and I finally decided to dig them out and add something to them.

I also tend to make weird titles for them that don't really have to do with the poem's content...or really anything other than funny sayings I come up with (this one for instance).

Anyway, enjoy. I'll try to catch up this weekend.

I wish I had written this when I still had it fresh in my head, but it was late last night. And I was lazy.

I know, I've been absent for a long time. I have no excuse. Really, none. But, in an attempt at breaking the monotony, I've started up this new writing project (of sorts). Each poem is based around a line from a song and the general tone of that song. This may be interesting, it may be horrid, it may end in me going entirely mad, but regardless of how it goes, it'll be something.

Also, no matter how interesting this is, it will still take a good chunk of time to even catch up to where I should be.
